Catherine Brahe, MD, is the founder and CEO of Cura Vita and the clinician behind EDEN, the modular electronic health record built by CURA Vento. A board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, she built Cura Vita around a frustration every clinician knows: the software meant to support care too often gets in the way of it.
She earned her MD from Georgetown University and completed her dermatology residency, where she was selected as chief resident. Years of practicing medicine in demanding clinical settings taught her exactly what clinical tools should, and should not, ask of the people using them.
That conviction is the heart of Cura Vita. Catherine leads EDEN’s clinical product direction on a simple principle: the systems that run a practice should be shaped by the clinicians who use them, not imposed on them. CURA Vento builds EDEN, turning that principle into software practices actually want to open.
The information on this page is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Cura Vita is the clinician-founded, practice-facing company under the CURA umbrella; the software is built by CURA Vento. Cura Vita is not a medical practice, and clinical care is delivered by individually licensed providers in their own practices.
